Tom is the founder of Griffin Asset Management and Vice-Chairman.

Over the past 50 years, he has earned a reputation as a highly respected securities analyst. He spent the early parts of his career as a portfolio manager at Citigroup and European American Bank before joining Dreman Value Management as a partner. As one of Dreman’s three original founders, he helped grow the firm’s AUM from $50 million to $4 billion during his tenure.

Tom has a B.A. in Economics from Hofstra University and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the Financial Analysts Federation.

Michael is the Portfolio Manager of Griffin’s Enhanced Equity Income Strategy and the Growth at a Reasonable Price Strategy. Along with Doug Famigletti, he spearheads the firm’s leadership and is a key member of the Investment Committee.

Michael has spent more than 30 years in the Financial Services industry. He held various roles at Bankers Trust, EF Hutton, PaineWebber and Brandywine Global Asset Management before founding Jamison Prince Asset Management. Most recently, Michael served as Portfolio Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Lebenthal Asset Management.

Michael holds a BA in Economics from Baldwin Wallace University and an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Doug is the Portfolio Manager of Griffin’s Covered Call Strategy and the Core Dividend Growth Strategy. Along with Michael Jamison, he spearheads the firm’s leadership and is a key member of the Investment Committee.

​Doug has more than 25 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. He began his career with Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS). In 2000, he moved to Goldman Sachs where he spent four years on their Institutional Sales Desk before joining Griffin Asset Management in 2004.

​Doug is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College where he was the captain of the Men’s Ice Hockey team and played on the Men’s Lacrosse Team.

John is the Co-Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Low Volatility Dividend Growth Strategy and the leader of the firm’s Investment Committee.

John has over 40 years of experience in the investment management industry. He began his career at U.S. Trust where he rose to the position of Senior Vice President and a member of the Portfolio Policy Committee. Prior to joining Griffin, John spent  8 years at Lebenthal Asset Management where he was a Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of the Investment Committee.

John graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.A. in Economics and is a member of the Pi Gamma Mu National Honor Society. He earned an M.B.A. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. As a collegiate wrestler, John won 3rd Place in the 177 lb weight class at the Middle Atlantic Conference.

Carl joined Griffin in 2018 from Morgan Stanley and has over 45 years in the investment management industry.

He began his career as a financial advisor with PaineWebber and rose through the ranks to become the Branch Manager and National Sales Manager at a number of large Wall Street firms such as E.F. Hutton.​

At Griffin, Carl manages portfolios with a Dividend Growth and Covered Call focus and he has a keen interest in special situation companies.

Carl graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Tom joined Griffin in 2024 and is responsible for overseeing all of Griffin’s business development initiatives and assisting with client relationship matters.

Tom has more than 30 years of experience in client development roles within the investment management industry. Prior to Griffin, he spent 8 years with Douglass Winthrop Advisors where he was responsible for new business initiatives and managing a number of client relationships. Tom spent more than 18 years in various business development roles at Fiduciary Trust International. The early part of his career was spent at Bessemer Trust and US Trust.

Tom holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA from Williams College in Economics and English. He was a member of the Williams Octet, an acapella group that sang the National Anthem at Yankee Stadium and Memorial Stadium (Baltimore). Tom is a volunteer for Visions/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired and for the New York City Bird Alliance.

Ja’Net is responsible for all operations and administrative functions at Griffin Asset Management. She has more than 30 years of experience managing the operations and administrative functions of asset management firms.

Prior to Griffin, Ja’Net spent several years at Lebenthal Asset Management and Barrett Asset Management. Before joining Barrett Asset Management, Ja’Net was Vice President at Jamison Prince Asset Management where she was responsible for managing administration, client and custodian liaisons, and maintenance of the record keeping/trade processing systems.

Duncan is the Chief Compliance Officer at Griffin and provides Operational support as well.

Duncan’s career started at Lebenthal & Co in 1978, in operations, then trading.  In 1986 he was named the head of Trading at Lebenthal where he continued in that role until the company was sold to Merrill Lynch in 2006. After a year at Stone and Youngberg, Duncan returned to a new Lebenthal where he traded institutionally on the sell side. After Lebenthal exited institutional trading in 2013, Duncan ran Operations for the Broker Dealer and the Registered Investment Advisor.  In that role he worked very closely with Compliance both on the dealer side as well as on the investment management side.

Duncan graduated from Bennington College in 1978 with a BA in Economics.

Brian joined Griffin in 2018 and is responsible for all of the firm’s sales and marketing activities.

Brian has more than 25 years of experience  across multiple sectors as a management consultant and marketing executive.  After spending the early part of his career in market research at Ogilvy and Mather, Brian joined Infosys’ Global Digital Marketing Advisory practice where he helped Fortune 500  companies optimize their global digital strategies. Prior to Griffin, Brian spent more than 6 years in leadership positions at tech startup L2T Media and healthcare consultancy, Devicepharm.

Brian holds an MBA from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Harvard University where he played on both the varsity hockey and lacrosse teams.

Joe has been with Griffin for over 15 years and is responsible for the daily execution, allocation and confirmation of all company trades.  Joe is an integral part of the Griffin Covered Call Strategy and monitors all of the options positions on a daily basis looking for opportunities to optimize returns.

Prior to Griffin, Joe interned on the New York Mercantile Exchange as an EFP Specialist where he worked in all the major trading rings including crude oil, options, and natural gas.

Joe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BA in Entrepreneurial Studies. He also holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement™ (CIPM) designation from CFA Institute.
